Of course, the main problem was you could only play with your Seaman in the comfort of your home, and if you went a day without playing with your Seaman, the results would be disastrous…
Well, fret no more – According to Japanese news outlet, Nikkei, Seaman is due for release on the 3DS!
This will allow you to play with your Seaman on the go, there will never be an excuse to not care for your Seaman. You’ll be able to take it out of your pocket, and tend to your Seaman at your hearts content!
Imagine the new possibilities! Maybe we’ll be able to share our Seaman with friends, or random strangers in the street!

A few years ago, I read a story somewhere that claimed Miyamoto kind of created seaman/highly influenced its development.
The story stated that Miyamoto (and plenty of gaming’s top brass) used to frequent a bar/restaurant and after a few drinks, Miyamoto started chatting to some pals at Sega…..one thing let to another and Seaman was born.
The intersting thing for me is that I heard this game is the project of a new studio that’s situated on the grounds of a demolished restaurant that Miyamoto used to frequent.
Coincidence?
We can only hope that this studio has been set up purely to re-make/re-imagine classic franchises for a new generation.
