Is this the new ‘Super Slim’ PS3? According to Brazilian tech site Tecnoblog it is.
Tecnoblog claims it sourced the stills from a Sony filing with telcoms regulator Anatel.
The new model appears to have a flip-top lid as opposed to an automated disc tray. This is the same approach Sony took when it redesigned the PS2 Slim.
The filing names three different SKUs – 250GB, 500GB and an entry-level 160GB.
If a reality then two things are very likely on the cards:
1/ The PS4 is just around the corner
2/ Current slim PS3 consoles may well come down in price
So all this can be your of under £100.
I’ll just wait for the PlaySatan 4 to come to arrive. As my old 60GB ( now with a 500GB drive inside) PlaySatan 3 is still running fine after 5 years. No YLOD yet.
